Please bid with confidence. We've done many, many transactions on ebay with 99.9+ rating. This is my son's project and now he's got two great kids and he's ready to let all of his hundreds of hours of hard work be your gain.....see his ad below:
For sale is a 1987 Jeep Wrangler YJ. Frame off restoration nearly complete. It has a freshly built for horsepower Chevy 350 engine with 0 miles, and a Turbo 350 transmission. This engine rocks and could easily be dropped into a drag car! All nuts and bolts are stainless steel. The motor is installed and running strong. (the smoke is from a burn pile!) New headers. It also comes with virtually everything else you need to finish the project. Some parts included are, transfer case lowering kit, transmission / transfer case adapter (by advanced adapter), transmission main shaft, and many other OEM parts.
It has been completely off the frame and has a coat of POR15 paint on the frame under several coats of undercoating. The body has been repainted from the primer up and is in great shape. Some of the new parts I put in it are: BRAND NEW Steel Horse hard top, brand new windshield frame, wiper motor, all stainless hinge kit, all stainless nuts and bolts on the body, a 3 in. body lift, new front bumper, and too many other parts to even begin to write. The only thing left to do mechanically is install the tranny and transfer case, drive shafts, and take it for a spin. The jeep came from Hawaii and was in great shape when I got it but I wanted something special. Problem is I ran out of time with 2 young children. This is a great Jeep at a great price, I’m not getting my expenses back, let alone any of my hundreds of hours of labor. If you’re looking for an almost finished project, look no further, you just found it. I also have (4) new 12x15 aluminum rims that I have $800 invested in. Although not included, we can talk about the rims.
If you have any questions or need to know anything about it feel free to send an e-mail. It can be seen in Northeast Ohio zip code 44460. Shipping can be arranged at buyer’s expense, or you can pick it up.
$500 deposit upon close of auction and balance within 7 days.
Thanks for looking and good luck!
