Hello.
This is a US Military M35a2. It has an LD-465-1C White Mutifuel Turbo Diesel, "Whistler".
The bad: The cab and bed are not so handsome. The pealing paint makes it look bodily worse than what it actually is. There is through rust in some spots on the body. Many of the tires are pretty worn. It was parked under a pine tree for a while, thus pine needles everywhere. The fuel injection pump is in parts (all there) - prior owner tried his hand at it and failed. No batteries included. No title.
The good: The motor turns very freely. The undercarriage is really quite nice. The entire chassis rolls very easily. The transmission shifts easily. Turbo. Block heater.
I puchased this truck almost two years ago with the intention to restore it - something I've always wanted to do. I bought it as an easy restore. It doesn't need much, and it's easy to work on. I'm getting a costly divorce instead. I need to let it go.
I live in Chicago, IL. The truck lives in Bald Knob, Arkansas. I have it parked at Roland's house, the man I bought it from. He's a good man. If you want to stop by to look it over, let me know. I can easily arrange a viewing.
Pick up only, please. Though I am open to helping you arrange shipment, if necessary.
Be well and Enjoy.
Doug
