Upgrades

• Clarion N.I.C.E. 7" Touch screen GPS Navigation Unit 2 Million Points of Interest, 3D view, video input cable provided, no remote, RF audio signal to the radio. Stores 10GB of personal data like photos, videos, MP3s. USB-connection to computer. Sirius satellite radio ready, turn by turn signal with audio direction through its speakers, or through the car speakers with Radio Frequency Broadcast setting on. The unit is hardwired through the vent, so you do not see any cables. It does not turn on/off with the car, you can use the GPS Unit without the key in the car. ($700 unit, installed it myself)
• FK Konigsport Height & Dampening Adjustable Coilover Suspension with front strut bar. Open hood and turn a knob to adjust front dampening. When you're going on a long trip, set it soft for comfort, or set it hard for go-kart-like driving. Ride heights are adjustable if you take off the wheels but it'll be very hard to loosen them up, rear dampening is only adjustable if you take off the coilovers. This was installed at BMW dealer.
• Escort X50 Radar Detector - Hardwired, minimal cable visible. It turns on and off with the car. ($200 unit, installed it myself)
• Brembo OEM Size Drilled/Slotted Brake Rotor and Ceramic Brake Pads(Better wet braking, better heat dissipation, $400 for the set, installed at BMW dealer)

• 05/19/2008 $78.81 Last oil change done at 138,000 miles. It's been about 3000 miles since the last oil change, so you should give it some fresh engine oil when you get it. I only keep track of last oil change, no other oil change receipts provided. I've only put Mobil 1 Full Synthetic products.

What's not so great about this car

• Quarter coin sized rust spot in the rear
• Slight rust on the closing lip of the trunk
• Right kidney grill area has a small patch of touch up paint
• Radio head unit is missing a few pixels.
• Dash computer display unit is not missing any pixels, but the backlight is out.
• Half of rear defroster does not defrost.
• Driver's door key lock doesn't work, the door opens/closes perfectly. You just can't lock it or unlock it with a key. You can only lock and unlock it with key remote. I didn't need to use this for so long, I didn't even realize it wasn't working until a friend tried to open my car with the key. I've always used the remote key, and never felt any need to fix the key lock. All other doors/trunks/windows open/close/lock/unlock perfectly.
• 40% side of 60/40 folding rear seats of the rear folding seat doesn't fold because the locking mechanism is stuck. I have the replacement part, but the dealer needs to install it. Replacement part included. This is a really nice feature. Kind of like a wagon, but without the look.

Tour & Test Drive

• Car is located in West Henrietta, NY 14586. Come see it and test drive it. You will be amazed with the cleanliness, quickness, and smoothness of the car. Feel free to bring a mechanic friend to take a look at it, or take it to a mechanic of your choice to have it checked out. This car passed NYS inspection in January 2008. This is one very reliable machine. I firmly believe that this car will easily go 250K miles and beyond with continued proper maintenance, and it will still be running like it was new. That being said, this car is still being sold as is, where is, without any guarantees or warranties. However, if you have any trouble with the car, just ask me and I will help point you in the right direction. You can also ask people in BMW forums. They are very helpful. I have 100% Feedback rating. Why am I selling this car?

• I would not sell this car if I didn't have to, but I need the money. This is my first car too, so I really don't want to let it go, but selling this car will allow me to pay off almost all of my credit card debts. Anyways, my misfortune is your opportunity.

What happens after the auction is over?

• I have never sold a car before, but I think all we have to do to complete the sale is for me to sign over the title, and fill out a bill-of-sale that you'll bring from wherever state you're from, or if you're from New York state, I have one you can use. This form is for paying tax to the state you're going to register the car. I will work with you to make this transaction go as smoothly as possible.
