I have owned this MGB for the past 9 years. No rust California car -- I have the original blue plate.  (The car was in storage prior to my purchase and thus was re-registered with white plates.)  This is an excellent driver and is maintained and driven regularly.  Purchased with 50K miles believed original, now has 80K miles.  In that time -- rebuilt engine at 50K miles and had exterior repainted Brooklands Green. Paint is faded but still good for a driver. Replaced 4-speed with British Motor Heritage rebuilt overdrive transmission at 60K miles.  Rebuilt carb with manual choke, replaced distributor,  alternator, master cylinder, wheel cylinders, cat converter, stainless-steel brake hoses.  Alloy replica Minilite wheels. All bushings, tie-rod ends, steering boots  replaced in last 30K miles. Recent tires.   Re-cored radiator, recent new seat covers.
