Please look at our quality, even though our price is at the lower end of the index for these trailers, we will stand up against Big Tex & several other Northeast Texas manufacturers (Many are using off brand axles including imports from SE Asia).
All Jacks are now bolted on instead of welded, ours can be removed for servicing or if you bend one, you don't have to cut it off with a torch.
Chain keepers lock ramps down to dovetail for transport. Anyone that has owned a dovetail trailer with foldover ramps knows this is a constant problem on rough roads (your ramps flip over and hit the ground on a regular basis.)
25,000 GVW accuracy is important so you don't get fined by DOT, they can fine you up to $5000 for having only a 20,000gvw VIN sticker if you haul a standard backhoe. Avoid underrated trailers.

We use MIG weld by certified welders. All joints are cut on a metal cutting bandsaw(no torch cuts)
We magnaflux all joints to insure weld penetration (we are the only medium duty trailer manufacturer to do this. the big guys do it all the time)Prior to painting we wire brush, wash with lacquer thinner and wash with tri sodium phosphate for long paint life. We are now phosphoric acidizing the frames to eliminate all loose mill scale and prevent any future rust from starting.
Specifications
27' length on the flat,5' selfcleaning dovetail. Our dovetail stringers are close enough, you won't step through.
Our ramps are made from 7gauge plate steel, others selling on the internet are using much lighter 12 gauge plate, verrrrrry weak. On gauge sizing the smaller the number the thicker.
Gooseneck gussets have a 1" 90 degree lip on front edge. Others use just a sheared plate, SHARP and weaker edges.
Our jack handles have an outboard sleave support, others have no support, just at the jack leaving 16-18 inches of unsupported bar sticking out.

2 10,000lb rating Dexter axles with heavy duty self adjusting electric brakes on both axles and Dexter heavy duty adjustable suspension.
8 16" rims with new 7.5x16 10ply rated tires
Main frame is 12"x19lb/ft Ibeam A50 High tensile (50,000psi) steel Ibeam. Be careful, others are claiming on Ebay to have High Tensile. Only 2 mills in North American produce certified A50 High Tensile, both on the east coast (the rest produce A36) and we are the only trailer manufacturer buying from both. Outer cap rail is 5"x 7.5" heavy channel (not cheaper 5"x3"x1/4" angle others use)
Neck is 12" Ibeam with laminated plates welded on butt joints.
Main frame cross members are 12" Ibeam (other trailer builders to save money will use 5" or 6" channel, much weaker)
Torque tube is now standard (minimizes left to right sway if loaded either left or right of center).
16" crossmembers now standard.
Neck risers are 54" tall versus conventional 48" (if your truck is 4wd or lifted, it won't bash in your truck bed)
Rubrail is much heavier 2"x 3/8" thick, used with 1/4" steel stake pockets
Main frame connector members are also 12" Ibeam. Others use much lighter materials.
Ramps fold flush with deck. New addition as of 03-01-06 Ramp bars are now removable and pinned in versus welded in place. (If you bend a ramp bar, it is now a simple replacement, not an expensive visit to the local welder)
Bulldog adjustable gooseneck coupler Rated at 25,000lbs (approx 14" vertical adjustment.)
Dual 12000lb dropleg bolt on jacks by bulldog(2speed available).
Jack handle is braced out at handle, not just the jacks are supporting the handle.
Treated #2 Select grade Southern Yellow Pine S4S wood deck. White oak, or Rumber(ground up rubber & plastic, lasts forever) available as options. Most competitors use #3 common which is full of knots.
We spend almost 8 hours preping the trailer prior to priming and paint. This includes grinding and power sanding all welds for a smooth finish, phosphoric acid etching the entire trailer to remove loose mill scale. It also creates a barrier to prevent rust from starting. Complete laquer thinner wipe with lint free rags to insure paint application.
Underside and inner steel parts are primered with special rust inhibitive primer called Teckol red oxide with 2 coats of Sherwin Williams acrylic enamel paint with a separate gloss enhancer.
We paint the entire trailer even the area you don't see, this is something most other trailer manufacturers don't do. (Some don't even prime underneath)
Deck screws are grade 8 self tapping and coated

Net trailer weight is approximately 7000lbs.

Our trailers are issued with an SAE approved serial number and an MSO for you to obtain a title.
We have a 2 year limited warranty. (tires are warranteed by the tire mfg.)
