this is an 82 YZ 490 that i aquired a few years ago. been sitting for many years. i finally got to messing with it and cleaned the gas tank and carb out. very clean inside considering. replaced the air filter and put fresh gas with yamalube, 32 to 1. fired up after about 6 kicks and sounded pretty good. the next week went to start it and i dont know what happened but after a few kicks either it kicked back or i slipped but the end of the kick start lever put a nice hole in my leg. had to go get stitched up. figured worse will happen if i go and ride this beast so im selling it. im a quad guy. its all stock and all there. needs a seat cover, front forks looked like they were leaking. other than that a pretty decent bike. local pickup only. anyone is welcome to come by and check it out. oh ya, the rear fender has about a 1 inch crack on the very end in the middle
