1958 Devin Race Car. Building of this car was started in 1958 with a Devin Body, the chassis is a 1950 Ford car, the engine is a 1961 Chevy "283" with PowerGlide. This is built for racing and is not a show car. The car was not finished and sat in a garage in Canada for many years. In the last 6 months, car has new brake lining, wheel cylinders, new master cylinder, ignition tune up, rebuilt carburator, radiator was re-cored, and paint job. The car runs well, but some of the body work especially the floor pan is not up to professional standards. The dash and windshield are from a 1959 Dodge, most of the dash gauges do not work. The car is built for racing and is thus not street legal. In our opinion the car should be re-wired, the wheels and tires should be replaced, and an early corvette windshield would look great on it. Overall, a very fun car to own and drive.
