Up for auction is a 1992 built Austin
Healey Kit Car. It only has 2927 miles and has always been garage kept and well
maintained. We are selling this car for a friend of ours. It was his father’s
car that passed away last year. I don’t know a whole lot about the car and
neither does he, but I will tell you as much as I can. Also, you are more than
welcome to come see the car and drive it and inspect the car for yourself.
The car has a tag from Classic
Roadsters, LTD and we are assuming that is who built this car. The body is very
straight and the paint job is good. It is titled as a 1992 model.
The motor is a strong running Chevy
400 small block and the casting number is 3951511. It has an Edelbrock aluminum
intake and a Holley 4bbl carburetor. It has chrome alternator and bracket,
chrome pulleys, chrome valve covers and breather, and a Reichert Racing Engines
sticker on the valve covers. I don’t know if it is a Reichert Racing Engine or
not, but I do know this car is extremely quick. The transmission is a 4-speed
manual and it appears to be a Muncie. It has 4-wheel disc brakes, coil over
suspension with what looks to be a Ford 9” rear end.
The interior is leather with VDO
gauges, and a Grant GT wood steering wheel. It also has a Sony CD stereo and a
Whistler radar detector.
The wheels are American Racing wheels and
the tires are Goodyear Eagle GT II’s.
This car has no issues that we know of
whatsoever and it runs, drives, handles, sounds, and looks great.
