You are bidding on a 1991 Cadillac Allante. This car is being sold as-is. It starts and runs good. The photos should be good enough for you to see the cosmetic condition. The radio works, the wipers work, power seats work, soft close trunk works. The brake light is on. The motor for the top was disconnected because it is drawing current and was draining the battery. If you are looking at this car then you already know what it is and what the common issues are. We have this starting below wholesale value. ---TRADE-INS---

If you have a vehicle to trade-in that is not a problem. In order to estimate what your vehicle is worth we need to know the following information: VIN, miles, Year/Make/Model, series or edition if there is one (like LTD or SE), color, manual or automatic, and any options like leather, sunroof, heated seats, navigation, etc. and if the car has ever been in an accident. The more detailed you are the more accurate our estimate will be. Letting us know what you expect to get for your vehicle in-trade is also helpful.

---SHIPPING & DELIVERY---

We ship cars all over the country on a regular basis. If you need a shipping quote please include your city, state, and zip code in your inquiry. If you would like to come in to the dealership and pick-up the vehicle we can pick you up at O'hare or Midway airport and bring you back to the dealership free of charge and you can then drive the vehicle home.

---GENERAL VEHICLE CONDITION---

All of our vehicles have passed a thorough mechanical inspection. Unless otherwise noted our cars always have a clean CarFax, a minimum of 50% tread remaining on the tires (usually closer to 80% though), good brakes, run great, have cold A/C, receive a fresh oil change, and have no dents or deep scratches, and no stains in the interior. With limited space on our lot for pre-owned cars we only keep the cleanest cars that come in on trade. All others go directly to the auto auction. We have been in business for over 25 years and sell over 5000 vehicles a year. We will go above and beyond to ensure that you are completely satisfied with your vehicle.

Taxes and Registration fees: Out of state buyers are responsible for all state, county, city taxes and fees, as well as title service fees in the state that the vehicle will be registered. All taxes and fees must be paid in full in order for vehicle to be titled and registered.
Title Information: Vehicles titles may be held by banks or lenders as collateral for loans. In many cases there is a delay in receiving the original instruments up to 21 days from the time we pay a vehicle off. While we usually have all titles in our possession at closing, there are occasions where we may be waiting for them to arrive. If payment is made by cashier's or personal checks we will hold all titles for 10 days or until funds have cleared.
Shipping & Delivery:
1. All shipping charges are buyer's responsibility. Motor Werks on Cook Street will help with shipping arrangements but will not be responsible in any way for claims arising from shipping damage!
2. Licensed Carriers are generally insured for $3,000,000.00. We assume no responsibility for damages incurred after the vehicle leaves our showroom. All shipping arrangements are provided by Motor Werks on Cook Street as a courtesy. We are not affiliated with any carrier. Any claims or other communication regarding shipment of vehicles will be between you and the shipper, not with Motor Werks on Cook Street.
3. The amount of time it takes for delivery is dependent on the carrier, but is generally 7-14 days from the date the vehicle is picked up from our facility until it is delivered to your destination. Verify with the shipper for an Estimate Time of Arrival to be sure.
Finalizing your Purchase:
1. Motor Werks on Cook Street will contact the successful high bidder by e-mail after the auction closes.
2. Successful high bidder MUST communicate with Brian at Motor Werks on Cook Street by e-mail or phone
  888-823-2422 within 24 hours of the auction ending to make arrangements to complete their transaction. If we cannot confirm your intention to buy or the sale is not completed within 5 days, we reserve the right to relist this vehicle or sell to any other qualified buyer.
3. In order to secure bid on vehicle, Successful bidder (BUYER) must within 24 hours of bid closing send to Seller a Deposit in the amount of 10% by major credit card, cash or bank certified funds. Within 72 hours of bid closing, Buyer must send balance of funds by wire transfer, cash, bank certified funds to Seller.
4. At time of sending initial deposit, Buyer MUST fax copy of their State issued valid Driver License. Furthermore, before said vehicle is released for shipment to Buyer, all other Sale related and title related paperwork must be signed and returned complete to Seller.
