Because of issues with counterfeit cashier’s checks, a cashier's check is only acceptable if it is issued from a bank in Knoxville, TN and witnessed in person by seller. Any check must clear both (buyer's and seller's) banks before vehicle can be released for delivery. A copy of the cancelled check may be requested. Wire transfer allows for immediate delivery.
