I am selling a used 94 Buckeye 582 Dream Machine Powered Parachute. It has a Rotax 582 (64HP) engine with B Box and recoil starter and 3 blade 60" IVO prop. It is a two seater and is in great condition. It has a nice set of instruments and side mount mirrors to monitor the engine area and a larger mirror to monitor the chute. It has an APCO 500 Hybrid dovetail crisp brightly colored chute. The chute has a few silver dollar professionally patched areas but other than that it is in great condition. The previous owner said the canopy only had 40 hours on it. I do not know the actual hours on the machine but by appearance I would say it is low. The previous owner said the actual engine time was lost due to a dead battery. The gauge was blinking and not readable when I got it so I replaced the 9V battery and it then showed 0 hours. My wife completed the registration papers and she was not sure how many hours to put so she unknowingly estimated 250 hours. By appearance I would say it is not that high though. I just sold a 2000 model that had a 582 bluehead with 98 hours and by comparison this one does not look like it has been used as much as the 2000 model. It has spring axles, wheel bearings and rear tires that are less than a year old. The engine is tight with no leaks and has plenty of power.
This is a safe and inexpensive way to get in the air. The biggest plus is you can store it in your garage and save what you would pay for hanger rent. Once you go up, you will get the bug. It is registered and certified and ready to fly. The N# is 4443Y and the airworthiness certificate was signed 01/17/08.
It can be left here up to 30 days if needed, but full payment is required up front.
