Unfortunately I have had some problems with fraudulent buyers, so i am removing the buy it now price. i have also lowered my reserve price. only bid if you are a serious buyer, and send a message prior to bidding if you have no bid history. thanks
I am a college student now, and I have to let my "project" go. I no longer have the time or money to continue. Now, I hope to make someone a great deal. I attempted to do a jdm engine swap into this 1987 RX7 Turbo II. Unfortunately, I let my friend talk me into buying a series 5 (89-91) engine. I qiuckly found out the differences. I tried to switch everything over for the conversion to work, but it did not work. Now there are some problems that I do not have the money to fix.
Here is the good. Series 5 jdm engine. I still have the old motor and tranny that will go with the car. I have the series 5 ECU and wiring harness as well. I purchased NGK plug wires, Blitz Blow Off Valve, Samco radiator and intercooler hoses, and a Corksport full stainless turbo-back exhaust (80mm). Plus, a few extras that I can't think of. Everything I have collected. Nearly $4,000 invested, but willing to let it go for much less.
Now the bad... The car DOES NOT RUN. It needs a new clutch master cylinder, and there is an issue with the ignition switch. The passenger fender is damaged, but I have a used one to replace it.
This car is being sold as is. I believe that with a little money this car can be running. After seperating from the military, i have not had the money to work on it. This can also make a great donor to someone that already has an RX7 that is looking for a jdm motor and lots of extra parts. I will not deliver, but I am willing to meet half-way if the buyer is willing to pay fuel costs. If interested, then contact me and we can work something out. I will only except cash or equivilant (money order, cashiers check). Also, I require a $200.00 deposit within 48 hours of the auction closing via paypal.
Happy Bidding!!
