If you've ever thought that a Velocity kit was the perfect plane for you but were hesitant because of the price, then this is the listing for you!  This is a "barely" started wing kit for a Velocity XL RG.  To ease buyer sticker shock, Velocity Aircraft offers their kits as two-part sets - Wing Kit "A" and Fuselage Kit "B".  This wing kit sells from the factory for over $11,000.  Fact is, I'm too impatient to finish this one from its components kit state, and am in the process of ordering a new Velocity XL in a Fast-Build setup.  You can benefit from my impatience by buying what I have now at a mere fraction of the cost.  I'm still awaiting delivery on the hardware items that go with this kit, and Velocity says they're going to give me credit toward the fast-build.  So, here's what's included:

Less than $800 worth of hardware and tooling (Aircraft Spruce and Wicks has every little hardware piece needed) separate you from having a complete kit.

Now for the real "NO BRAINER" to this deal - when this kit was purchased, the price paid included Velocity's required $3,800 deposit against the Fuselage kit (check the picture).  The credit for this deposit transfers stays with the Serial Number, and that means that the buyer of this kit is already $3,800 ahead.  Think about it, for as little as the opening bid on this item at $2,800 you've essentially cut the cost of the fuselage kit by $1000 and ended up with an $11k wing kit for free! Velocity Aircraft will charge anyone who transfers a serial number a $500 fee to pick up the factory technical support and put you in gear toward the finished plane.
