For Sale today we have a 1959 Edsel, Ranger. This car is 100% original with the exception of the paint and the New duel Exhaust. This car has a Factory rebuilt 292 v8, with a Smooth shifting Automatic trans, car runs and drives Great! This car has been sitting in a garage for the last year being driven very little, I put a charge on the battery and  the old girl fired right up! I have driven the car ONLY around the block a few times to make sure everything is as it should be. (No Noises, No Smoke, No over heating)  I am selling this car as Needing Restoration as there are a Few blemishes in the paint and a few bubbles. The interior is in Great Shape, there are No Tears and No rips including the headliner. The frame is Solid, the floors will need some work as they have small holes in them, they have been fixed, with sheet metal but Not correctly. The Body on the car shows No Rot, only minor bubbles and scratches. The chrome on the car is bright and shows good from 5 feet away but up close you can see pitting. ALL chrome and trim is here with the car, and is in the trunk as I have taken pics of these things. All the glass on the car is Clear as NEW, with the exception of the drivers window which has a carck in it. This car also has Factory A/C, the unit is still in the car but the compressor is in the trunk, all mounts and hardware seem to be there to replace. This car was a daily driver from 2001 thru 2005 when the motor was rebuilt, at that time car was parked in garage due to health reasons and driven very little, so motor is still the same as NEW! Car will need tires and maybe a good going over and this would again be a Daily Driver. These cars are getting harder and harder to find, much less a 2 door hardtop! This is a Great Start to a Classic that will only appreciate in value thru the years. I am selling this car AS-IS due to it's age and in No Way reflects the condition of the car. $1000.00 deposit is due 24 hours after auction close, the balance to be paid in 7 days of auction close, regardless of pick-up date. Car can be stored for 2 weeks after that there will be a storage charge unless other arrangements are made, at time of sale.
