A very good, solid survivor car for restoration/street rod, but could be used as-is with some new tires.

Exterior:
Body is rust-free and seems to be bondo-free
It does have some scrapes and dents, most of which are from trailer damage.
Paint was done about 30 years ago- it is worn and sun damaged.
Glass is all good- no cracks or discoloration.
Chrome is pitted on grill, decklid trim and bumpers, but should re-chrome nicely.
Wide white wall tires are about 30 years old and will need to be replaced.
Mild surface underneath, but absolutely no rust holes in the floor.
Mechanical:
Runs and drives well.
New master cylinder
Brakes have been bled and adjusted and are in good working order, but should have new wheel cylinders.
Suspension is good
Transmission is good- shifts smoothly.
Interior:
Interior was redone about 30 years ago.
Upholstery is in good shape, except for the top corner of the driver's seat.
This interior does not convert into a bed.
The radio cover looks good and works, but radio does not.
Gauges on the Uniscope instrument pod all work

Please note that although the old California title states incorrectly that this Ambassador is a 1949, yet it is clearly a 1950.
This was most likely a DMV clerical error on a new pre-ordered 1950 car that was purchased at the end of the 1949 calender year.
Unlike a 1949 model, it is tagged as a 5000 series, Model 5069, has a hidden gas cap and a wider rear window.
"Though styling for 1950 remained static, the rear window was widened 10 inches and the bumper guards were smoothed out.
Other refinements included Nash's famous "glove-locker that pulls out instead of spills out"
