Vehicle Description

|
For sale is a 1986 Volkswagen Vanagon Double Cab pickup truck. Since VW stopped importing their pickups to the US in the early 70’s this is an extremely rare vehicle in the states. It is titled and legal to drive. It has a 2.1 liter water cooled motor, and has plenty of get up and go for a Vanagon.
It has a lot of neat features, including the fold down bed gates and the treasure chest (storage under the bed). It is a very unique vehicle that will get you plenty of attention as you drive it around town.
This truck is sound and the interior is complete. This bus is unmolested and in it’s original form. This is not a show car, but with some simple body work it could be made perfect, as is, it makes a great driver for the price. As a 22 year old bus that came out of Canada it has some rust. The worst is a hole in each side in front of the seat belt bolt ( wheel well right inside each door, see pics) and the rear wheel well on the passenger side (again see pics), these area are contained and could be repaired.
The engine starts right up and has never given me any troubles. The lights and electronics all work, except for the horn. The interior seats 3 in front and 3 in the back. The back seat has its own door on the passenger side.
This item is sold as is. If you need to see anything else let me know and I will be happy to take a picture of it. This is a used vehicle (22 years old), and will require regular maintenance and upkeep. I have truly reported everything I know about the vehicle. If you can’t check the vehicle out in person, there are service companies that can inspect a vehicles,(Ebay even offers one) and if you have any doubts about what you are getting, I recommend you use one of these services. I’m not trying to scare you away, but I want a happy buyer who knows what they are getting

I took it to the DMV today and submitted the correction, but I will not have the title in my possession for 2 to 3 weeks. I do have copies of the title submitted and the correction form. If this is a problem for you, please do not bid on this vehicle, I want a happy buyer. | | |
