The good- 1981 jeep pickup. Very rare. Fenders, hood, doors are all perfect straight body work is done. Epoxy primed and blocked ready for paint. All were sandblasted. Box is in great shape no rust. Just needs to be finished. Floor boards in cab have been replaced and re-welded. Comes with factory roll bar. Skyjacker springs and shocks. 4" lift. Motor is a A.M.C 360 rebuilt about 20,000 miles ago. New cam, crank was re-ground, heads all gone through with all new valves. Only thing left stock was the pistons. When I finished the restoration all I was planning was to freshen up the motor. Transmission is the chrysler style 727 rock crusher. Comes with under dash factory air with spare parts, and a new set of rockers.
The Bad- While I was working the restoration I had some of the parts stored in garage it burned to the ground. I lost the tubs [stepside fenders] and the tailgate. I know how much this sucks and how rare these parts are. But I have seen several of these trucks pop up on E-BAY and other web sights. The only reason why I have not persued these parts more aggresivley is I bought a bass boat and something has to go. The rockers are rusty and need to be replaced the truck comes with a new set. That is the worst of the body work that needs to be done. I really need to sell this truck I am setting the reserve very low. If it looks like the bidding is getting close I will lower the reserve.
