Please contact me before bidding to see if free delivery can apply to where you live or will be in early August. This aluminum custom built two-boat stock/mod/pro race boat trailer will save you lots in gas money. This lightweight trailer is so easy to pull I have towed it -- with a compact car -- across the country, including over the Sierra and Rocky mountains. In addition to being light weight, the low profile equipment boxes ride in car’s slipstream to avoid drag.
This trailer is all aluminum except for the suspension and tongue. The tongue is two pieces, one fitting inside the other so that the longer inside piece can be pulled out for storage. The trailer deck is full diamond plate aluminum. The tires were new last year and are in excellent condition.
Because it tows so easily and economically, I can deliver this trailer free to many points when I will travel between Portland, Oregon and central New York state in late July to mid-August. LET ME KNOW WHERE YOU LIVE BEFORE YOU BID so I can let you know if I can plan my route through there and tell you when I could get there. If you are not somewhat on my route the sale will be based on your picking it up or based on a drop-off point we agreed upon before you bid. Payment will need to be made in full via PayPal within three days of auction close in order for me to deliver the trailer.
The trailer was designed for a runabout on the bottom bunk, and either a runabout or hydro will ride on the top bunk. There are rollers at the back of each bunk, and I have loaded and unloaded both the top and bottom boats without help. The front box is 59 inches wide, 29 inches long and 23 inches deep. The back box is 57 inches wide, 29 inches long and, since the lid on this box slopes, the high end depth is 19 and the low end depth is 16 inches. Total length of the trailer is 16 feet, 4 inches not including the tongue. The trailer is 60 inches wide; 72 inches when including the fenders. The photos show a gas cap and filler on the front equipment box, but there is no tank inside it. A tank could easily be made and connected to the filler.
The only flaw is a not-serious weld crack at a non-structural part of the trailer. It is shown in one of the pictures. The main structure of the frame runs under the boxes to give the contents support -- the box channel where the crack is functions simply as a shape around the equipment boxes. I will try to get this fixed before leaving on my trip, but I will enough need time between getting paid for the trailer and leaving.
This trailer is also being advertised locally, so the auction could end early if it is no longer available.
The boats do not come with the trailer, but the Zorkin CSR/CMR on the top bunk will also be for sale separately and could possibly be delivered.
