Up for sale is a 1961 Pontiac Bonneville
4 dr hardtop. This baby still has the original 389 motor and the stock 3 speed trans.
This car has alot of reciepts and records and has only had two owners I was told. It has been sitting for a while but runs and drives. The brake cyclinder where replaced about 3-4 weeks ago and new rear shoes and brake lines. The exhaust has a small leak that you can hear when its running "minor". I would probally due a good tune up on it to make it so you know when to do the next sevice. The trans from all the reciepts was always serviced on time and as well as the oil. The body was repainted and some surface rust is showing up on the lower corners and front of the hood, normal surface rust for black plate California car an easy fix. The body is straight as well as the trim pieces still look good. The chrome is decent but if you want it show quality you will need to get it redone. The glass is good and this has the rear shades or shutters. The exterior is white and the interior is the factory two tone blue looks good some of the seams are pulling apart but just needs a minor resticht an easy fix other wise show nice. The headliner is the original and looks good but the visor need to be redone. There are some holes drilled on the ash tray probally was a compass there at one time. The dash pad need to be replaced. Stock radio did work and now doesnt? The floor pans are good and solid no rust holes. This baby drives on the freeway at 75 mph and is pretty darn smooth.
