THE DETAILS: This car was sold by Ferrari of Long Island, NY in April 2005 for $99,000. It has travel just 1,689 miles since. For that sale, Ferrari of Long Island performed a full $10,000 service. Pause and consider this information. An authorized Ferrari dealer, probably the finest in the U.S. save for Ferrari of Atlanta, sold this very car under 1,600 miles ago for almost $100,000. If you’ve been to a Ferrari showroom and seen and priced used 355s you know that a $99,000 car is a exceptional Ferrari. This car is one of those cars.

Rest easy that this car is as fine, unblemished and spectacular as when it sold 1,689 miles ago for $99,000. Actually, it’s probably better as it has been heavily detailed to near show condition. Now, fear not. You can own this fabulous 355 for far less than what the last owner happily paid. The Buy-It-Now price is a jaw-droppingly reasonable $71,400. I’ll go out on a stout, solid limb and state that this is the finest, freshest and best 355 Spider available for sale in the U.S. today. At minimum it’s in the top 1 % of available cars. It’s also the most affordable worthy 355 available. By worthy, I mean trouble-free, undamaged, un-abused, factory serviced and cosmetically perfect. By affordable, I mean that my competition, dealers or private owners, want more money for their lesser cars.

THE COLORS: The exterior is flawless Nero Black, the interior also flawless and is tan leather, the convertible top is near perfect factory cloth in black and the boot or tonneau that covers the top when it’s retracted is a factory provided, perfect tan leather.

THE EQUIPMENT: Air conditioning, power windows, power door locks, power seats, power convertible top, tasteful high end Sony AM/FM/CD/MP3/XM radio. It has a floor mounted 6 speed manual transmission. The factory manuals are present and are in their leather portfolio. The factory tool case is present as are the untouched tools and belts inside.

WHEELS & TIRES: Perfection. All four wheels are utterly unblemished. Four new top-of-the-line Z rated tires were installed 10 miles ago.

INTERIOR: The original factory installed protective ‘transport’ plastic is still covers the perfect tan wool carpet. Even the driver’s seat bolster is without wear. The leather is supple and unmarked. The dash (a Ferrari weak spot) is perfect, the A/C vents are stickiness-free (another Ferrari problem). The entire interior is just simply as new.

EXTERIOR:  355s typically suffer from a certain degree of stone chip damage to the front bumper, headlight doors and hood. Not this 355. It is almost completely free of such issues. The two tiny, pinhead blemishes that do exist are, well, tiny. Otherwise there’s not a single chip, ding, dent, scratch, swirl or mark on the entire car. Even the paint finish directly behind all four wheels is completely unmarked. These areas usually suffer ‘sand blast’ damage where the tires kick up quantities of damaging pebbles and grit. Not the case with this 355. I’d call the paint 99.5 % showroom new. The car has a clean Car Fax report that can be emailed to any interested buyer.

The correct, original cloth top is nearly perfect. There is but one 1/8” wear spot which is depicted in the attached photos. Minor. Otherwise the top is perfect and fits and looks like a dream.

MECHANICAL CONDITION: As new. Additionally, the underside of the motor and transaxle are completely drip free. This 355 is as good as it gets mechanically. And verifiably so.
