The good:

** Excellent body. No rust. It has been repainted with the same original color some years ago, and it’s still holding up well. There are no visible dings or dents (except the right chin dam). No paint masking traces as everything was removed before painting.

** Engine and transmission had been rebuilt less than 10,000 miles ago. Both work fine and run strong. The engine starts immediately every time, and has no noticeable oil leaks – unusual for an ALFA, but true.

** Flawless dash. No crack at all

The ugly:

** A crack in the windshield.

** Tears on driver side seat cushions. Seats were reuphostered in vinyl. (See photos)

Condition of car and other notes:

It has a spare tire, jack, new battery, owner's manual, Blaupunkt stereo, good to excellent tires and wheels and brakes. Vent wing knob is missing on both doors. The right convertible top latch is very difficult to snap on, due to shrinkage of the top? There is some underbody exhaust rattling at low car speed, just enough to annoy you. Of course the air conditioning has not worked for years, but the compressor, pulley and all components are there. That’s all the little problems from making this a perfect car. You should expect everything else to work, and it does. Powered windows and mirrors work. So do the windshield wiper, electricals and lighting, etc.

All in all, it’s in great drive train and body shapes. More cosmetic fixes will make it like new again. And it’s a real Italian sports car, fun to drive, perfect for the convertible season. The reserve price is set reasonably low for a very good car. It can be driven home
