This 1976 Chrysler New Yorker Brougham has a 400cid NON- Catalyst engine, 4bbl carb. 72,000 original miles. Vintage Red Sunfire exterior, White Top, Dark red leather. Runs, drives and stops great.

Along with the standard features of a New Yorker this car has the following options:  Power drivers seat, Cruise control, Auto Temp II A/C, Search tune Stereo, Power windows and locks, remote driver and passenger mirrors, Cornering lamps, Power Antenna, Rear Window Defroster, Deluxe sound insulation.

The not so good stuff…..but not that bad for a car that is 32 years old.  The vinyl top is cracked (as seen in photos) but there is no rust under the top. The seam on the muffler is rusted, it needs tires. Right valve cover leaks a little bit, passenger side door lamp lenses are missing. The a/c hoses need to be replaced along with the compressor(leaks) but the compressor does work and the Auto Temp II works flawlessly. The power antenna does not work.  The bumper on the right front is slightly pushed.

The good…..Replaced items: Water pump, radiator, thermostat, hoses, heat control valve, master cylinder, front brake pads, rear shoes, complete tune up(cap, rotor, plugs, wires, air, fuel and breather filters), new Thermoquad Carb, the Lean Burn system was removed and replaced with a Mopar Electronic Ignition system, 3 rebuilt power window motors. Front end alignment.

 The Corinthian Leather is NEAR perfect. No rips or holes. There is a little spot (as seen in the pic) where the color has worn off the driver’s seat about ½ inch X 1 inch.  The paint is in pretty good shape for its age. Has the original owners manual and warranty registration card in the plastic folder. Headliner is perfect.

This car is being sold as is, where is. No warranties expressed or implied. You are responsible for arranging shipment of car or you can pick it up. I do drive the car locally with the tires the way they are but I would not drive it any distance until they are replaced. If you want the tires replaced before shipment/pick up, I will be happy to bring the car to the tire store for new tires at your cost. We all have a personal preference as to the tires we like, thus I am not putting tires on the car myself. You might not like my choice.
