850 Commando with flawless repaint on tank and side covers. Pin striping was done by hand and then clear coated. Norton decals are not clear coated, just like the factory. Finish on underside of tank and inside of side covers are just as nice.
Smiths speedometer shows 13k miles, but I personally would not believe any old motorcycle speedometer that is thirty years old. Tachometer also works.
The engine runs well with no smoking and easy starting. Trans mission shifts with ease with neutral easy to find.
Headlight, taillight, stop light and directionals all work fine. All fluids have been changed (i.e. forks, transmission, engine and filter) and is ready for your weekend pleasure.
Front end stabilizer does what it is supposed to and is a great addition. Points have been replaced with Pazon. Two inch long by three quarter inch bad spot in rear Dunlop rim. Just installed Mikuni carburetor and it is far superior than the dual Amals. More mid-range and a whole lot easier to set-up.
