Up for auction is this 1982 Mercedes Benz 240 D.  This automobile is part of an Estate that we are liquidating.  This car has been sitting in place since 2005.  This car has rust starting on the fenders and doors (see pictures) as well as fading and peeling on the hood, roof and trunk.  The car has not been running since it was parked, however, we were able to start the car, let it idle (roughly) for about 5 minutes. 

This car has a sunroof, and a wonderful interior.  The seats and carpet are soft, smooth and clean.  The dashboard has cracks, but is intact. The doors open and close nice and solid, as does the trunk.

The glass is in good shape, and the car looks to be straight.  This car needs tires (see picture) and cannot be driven away. 

We have two cut keys, the owners manual, repair manual and clear title that are included in this auction.

We are an Estate Sale Company, not auto mechanics.  We will be able to answer some questions, but probably not all.  This car is also for sale during our Estate Sale. 

Our Estate Sale will be held on Friday, July 25 and Saturday, July 26, at 141 Hill, Mount Prospect, Illinois 60056. 

If you would like to see the car, it will be available between the hours of 9:00AM and 4:00PM, on Friday and Saturday.  This is a no reserve sale, but we reserve the right to sell it at any time during our sale hours.
