2000 Chief. 15,100 miles.
The 99 to 01's were/are the longest, lowest, and coolest of the Gilroy built Indians. 99 & 2000's had the most factory chrome too.
88" S&S Superstock motor. Starts and runs great. Stock exhaust is gutted and carb jetted to match. Original baffle with perfomance rings included in sale.
Matching Corbin P pad is included in sale as well.
Above average condition for a bike with 15k on it.
Paint and chrome good. A couple tiny nick's on the front of the front fender. One was down to primer and I filled in with paint. Needs filled in a bit more then wet sanded if you want perfection.
New rear tire this season. Front will last until rear needs replaced again.
Belt and pulley are in very good shape.
Both rims replaced with new last year as there was some chrome issues with the originals. Same size and 60 spoke (stainless steel spokes).
Polished Indian shift linkage. ISO grips.
Teardrop style mirrors (03 Scout mirrors).
This was an early 2000 and had the chrome floorboards but were replaced with the black anodized that don't drag quite as easy.
Glass Indian head in front fender light.
No rear fender crack.
Headlight, turnsignal, and passing lamp visors.
The flaws: Horn does not work. Fender dinger mentioned above. If you run the solo seat you can see marks on the rear fender from the rubber pads from the p-pad. I'm sure they can be buffed out though.
Chrome on "eybrows" show wear from where bags were mounted. You'll probably need to re-chome in a few years.
P pad has scuffs. One is fairly noticable. No rips, tears, or anything like that though.
