Florida buyers are subject to a 6% sales tax plus applicable Florida fees. Out of state buyers are responsible for their own taxes, registration, etc. applicable in their home state. We can provide out of state buyers with a temporary tag if they are picking up their vehicle..However Fla Law requires that out of state buyers pay the sales tax due in their home state HERE in Fla,..You will be provided with an affidavit stating you paid the tax here in Fla.(which has a reciprocal agreement with all but two states) YOU WILL NOT PAY TWICE !! there is a lot of confusion about this issue, THIS is the straight story ! Are all auctions the same?
No, there are different types:

• RESERVE Auction:The reserve price is the lowest price a seller is willing to sell an item for. This amount is generally higher than the minimum bid. In order to win the auction, a bidder must meet or exceed the reserve price and have the highest bid. If a bidder's maximum bid meets or exceeds the reserve, the bid will be automatically raised to meet the reserve. Bidders cannot see what the reserve price is until it is met.
  

• NO RESERVE Auction: Simply put, the highest bidder at auction's end, wins!
  

• BUY IT NOW Option: When a seller chooses to offer a Buy It Now price, You the buyer have the option to buy the item instantly at that price, without waiting for the listing to end. When a bidder uses this feature, the auction ends immediately with that bidder as the winner. Buy It Now is a great way to avoid the last minute bidding frenzy that often results in a bidder losing out on the item at the last minute. We will notify you with a congratulatory email, but it is not necessary to wait for our email to arrive, as it is very important that we establish a dialogue as quickly as possible. Names, addresses and phone numbers are exchanged and we start to work out the logistics of funding and delivery with you. Our focus is to make the process as smooth as possible .

How do I pay for the vehicle?
Our general guideline is a 20% deposit is due within 48 hours of auction end. The balance is due within 4 days of auction end. However, there are times when we can bend the rules a bit to accommodate a special circumstance. These exceptions are evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Can you assist with shipping my vehicle?
Yes, in most cases, we can. We have access to several transporters with competitive rates. You can also visit dasautoshippers.com, an informational site for vehicle shipping and transport. Can I pick up the vehicle in person? Do you provide a temporary tag?
Yes, you can certainly pick up your vehicle in person. In fact, we will provide transportation from Fort Lauderdale International Airport (FLL) to our facility. As far as a temporary tag, Florida law says that if you drive the vehicle away from our facility (as opposed to transporting it via carrier), you must pay the sales tax due in your HOME STATE and you will receive a temp tag. The sales tax paid is credited toward sales tax owed in your home state (via a reciprocal agreement) when you register your vehicle; please call us for further details.

Are there any charges associated with the purchase, other than the $250 administrative fee mentioned in your auction?
No, unless you are a Florida resident, in which case by law we must collect sales tax and title and tag fees.
