Started as a 1960 CJ5 project. Frame was rusted badly...purchased a frame in great condition, which you see here. Frame is approx a 1967. Had a 1968 CJ5 which is where the Buick V6 came from, the engine ran great, and was pulled approx 9 months ago. The trans is a T-86AA with a shorter shifter from a T-90 that I converted the shift forks. The transfer case is the stock one from the '68, Spicer 18?, but I converted it to a twin stick shifter. The rears are from a 1950 CJ-3A. The back is a Dana 44 and the front is a Dana 25? I'm sure they have 5.38 gears. The leaf springs are brand new, as are the shocks, the shackles, the mounting plates, and the U-bolts. The steering is hooked up and fully functional. It has the original wheels on it and most likely the original tires. I have a bunch of other parts like a few radiators, some driveshafts, misc. linkages, etc. The title is from a 1960 CJ5. Title number 13799748215 AD. The VIN number is 5754890931. You could put a new body on this, wire it up, attach the VIN plate, and make it roadworthy in no time. Selling cause I have too many projects and this needs to go.
