York Sports Cars is offering a finished 1965 Ford Cobra replica for sale at a price that is equivilant to the current cost of the parts to build and paint one.

This magnificant COBRA replica is located in Ashland, Va. and has been driven only 2,975 miles since it's completion. The car runs strong and handles beautifully. The fit and finish of this car is exceptional, and yes, you are right the hood is not latched in the photos. The metalic blue exterior with white stripes is complimented by the custom black leather interior and carpet.

The modified FORD 302 V-8 starts and runs flawlessly, cooled by an aluminum cross flow radiator and electronicly controlled electric fan, the 4 bbl carb. and electronic distributor provide smooth power. The Ford Motor Sports 157 tooth flywheel and King Cobra clutch are new and supply torque to the new Ford T-5  5 speed transmission (the car was built with an automatic, but was converted to straight drive), a new drive shaft spins the Ford limited-slip rearend's 3.73 gears.

Stopping is provided by powered disc rotors on all 4 corners, and it is smooth and precise.  Chrome wheels and tires accent the metalic blue exterior. This car has lots of extra touches including, but not limited to, the interior trunk and hood releases, vintage gauges, carpeted trunk, custom headers and "coated" side-pipes.

This car is being sold AS-IS, where-is, with no warrenty expressed or implied. The car is titled in the state of Virginia as a 1965 FORD  2 dr. convertible. The title is clean and clear. The car has a current Va. State inspection sticker.

In writing the description, I have incorrectly listed the radiator. The radiator is not an aluminum cross-flow, but, it is a new Modine 359 copper/brass radiator. I trust this will not cause any confusion. The car has been driven 775 miles since the transmission was changed over from automatic to straight drive.
