This is a 1987 Dodge Ram conversion van 3/4 ton B250. The body was originally from South Carolina and looks good as far as the rust is concerned. Please read below for more information and view pictures.

5.2 liter V8 that runs good. Transmission shifts fine. Interior is in decent condition considering it's age. The carpet needs cleaned or eventually replaced. Front End center seats recline flat and swivel around, while the rear seat folds down into a bed.

It is wired for a TV but does not have one anymore. The antenea is already installed and is also wired for a CB radio.

Two tires on the back are brand new. the two up front are down to about half tread. Has a newer battery and a new alternator. Recently the whole front end has been rebuilt. Meaning the brakes, inner and outer wheel bearings, rotors, all four tie rod ends, steering drag link, pivot links. The two front shock are included but have not been installed. The rear end has air shocks and a ball hitch for towing. The alignment was done with 30 Lbs of air in the rear shocks.

The motor has a complete tune up including wires, cap rotor, fuel filter, air filter, a few vaccum hoses, & spark plugs.

The Bad: Leaks oil. I recently put new valve covers and gaskets on, but it did not stop the leaking. Also the carb needs rebuilt or replaced. Replaced would be easy, it is not hard to get to. The person before me had the smog pump removed as it was in poor shape. Also the air conditioning needs work. Guessing it needs charged. The power steering pump squeels some times. I don't know why. Some of the burgandy stripes are faded. Mainly on the hood and the conversion top. Doesn't hurt anything, just looks better in pictures than in person.

The body looks better in the pictures than it actually is. Look closely as the two side doors have been damaged. It looks like some one turned sharp and didn't see a parking block. Also there is a dent in the drivers front door. The rest of the body is in good shape. The rear doors could use new hinges. They work, just if I kept it, i would have these replaced.

This van runs and shifts fine, but uses oil like crazy and it is important to check it every couple hundred miles. I was going to replace the motor, but can't seem to find the time to do this. I have a freshly rebuilt 360 and brand new towing cam package if the winning bidder is interested. Replace the motor and fix a few odds and ends and this will be a fantastic van for a family vacation. It gets about 16 miles per gallon at 60 mph on the highway. So it won't kill you on the trip. I think if the carb was replaced it would do a little better at least on the highway. The gears are highway gears and this isn't a speedy vehicle, but it is comfortable when all the kids get noisy.

If you are planning on jumping in this and driving it every day it will work, but the oil is a major concern for me and it will need attention before driving it long distances or longer work commutes. I just drove it about 300 miles. No problems but had to put a quart of oil in it. It doesn't smoke, just leaks. My wife wasn't too happy as we have a new drive way, so it needs to go and we have not driven it in a month.

I almost forgot. The power window on the drivers side she says is not working. I think I know why. It looks like the wire heading out through the door has become disconnected. I took a picture of this as well. Very easy fix.
