1971 Datsun 240Z in excellent overall condition. I'm selling this car for my neighbor who's rebuilt this classic. I took it for a spin yesterday and it's fast and smooth and blast to drive! Here's the rundown. Rebuilt original transmission w/clutch from Nissan's racing division, overhauled carburetors, new struts, new suspension bushings, new tires, new body and paint (stunning job by west coast paint and auto body and owner - renowned artist Alan Clark.) new door panels, new complete carpet set, new complete rubber weather stripping kit, new window chrome on entire car, new top half dash cover, high efficiency core radiator installed and will NOT overheat, new stereo cassette system (stock radio comes with the car). The original owner lived in Beverly Hills and always garaged the car and it's been garaged ever since. All the service records are available from 71 to 84 from original owner. This doesn't burn oil, no smoke, it idles so smoothly you can barely hear it. Responsive and powerful best describes the performance. Minor defects include... driver side seat cover needs a little work (see photo). The dash clock works but is so noisy it has been disconnected, digital replacement clocks are available but require some work, missing window washer reservoir - this is not available from any known source. 10% of winning bid due withing 48 hours of end of bidding and remaining balance due at pick up.
