SCCA D Sports Racer, current and legal. Chassis is flatbottom, a combination of tubular cage and stressed-skin construction. All suspension components are aluminum billet, aluminum tubular, or sheet steel fabrication; all hubs, bearings, etc., are production-car based for ease of maintenance. Engine is fully prepared from Honda VFR-700 V-4, with Falicon crank, Carillo rods, Arias pistons, titanium valve gear, IHI turbo, fuel injection. Monoshock front suspension, Wilwood brakes. Don't have current dyno results, but early tests indicate probably around 195hp at 30lb. boost. Accelerates with F Continentals. Built over 5 years, finished and homologated 2003. Weight about 775 dry, so could be at minimum with lightweight driver. I'm not; fits me at 6'1", 210#.
This car could be a regional champion, National competitor SCCA car, or a great autocrosser or track-day car. Some spares included, such as spare engine cases, crankshaft, other engine parts. Ready to race today!
