Item Description

This BSA is owned by a friend of mine. All information was supplied by him and he can be mad available to answer any questions.

This BSA was of course made in England. It was sold in England for the british market and rode there for years. As you can see it has the rare 4 gallon European touring tank.

Sfter riding it for a few years the owner decided to tear the bike down for a restoration but the bike languished in boxes for several years. The gentleman then was tranfered back to the states so he crated up the parts and shipped them home with him. They sat for another few years until my friend bought it. He then took the bike to a semi local guy who does outstanding work and the parts wer all cleaned, replaced and or painted then the bike was reassembled.

As you can see that the paint although not an original color,is in great shape!

The following parts were replaced with new:

Fenders,tires,shocks,trim,fork tubes and seals,cables,brakes,turn signals.

The motor was checked over and the bottom end was found to be in very sound condition. The cylinder was bored and fitted with NOS Hepolite pistons & rings. The cylinder head was disassembled and fitted with new valve guides, valves and a fresh 3 angle valve job.

This bike runs very nicely, idles well and tears down the highway with ease.

It is not a concours restoration. Some chrome parts such as the grabrail were stripped and painted but the job was first class!

As with any classic bike this one will need periodic maintainence and the ride will not compare to a new Road King or such BUT this bike has more character than you will find at an dealer!

This will need the kicker and shift rubber replaced and maybe a little detailing as the bike is actaully ridden and not just a display item.

Feel free to email me with any questions. I can also send many more photos to anyone who would like them as well as put you in contact with the present owner.

I can also personally deliver the bike to areas in the Northeastern US for a fee but bike and delivery payment is due and will have to clear before the bike is delivered.
