Offered here for an appreciating new owner is this rare 1978 BMW E24 chassis BMW 633CSi 4 speed Coupe!
It is being offered here at "NO RESERVE" and also with a BUY-IT-NOW FEATURE for those who want it NOW!
This is a strong running and decent driving "project car" OR "parts car". It features a near-perfectly rust-free body [yes I know, the fender is hanging off the left front]. It is being offered here at NO RESERVE! It will be sold to the highest bidder thursday, July 10th, 2008 at 6:00pm pst. This is a great find for someone. The mileage on the NON-working odometer is unknown. The fuel-injected 3.3 liter six cylinder engine actually runs quite well with good power, the transmission shifts well, the brakes stop the car. It has Bilstein shocks, LIMITED SLIP REAR DIFFERNTIAL [I tested it and laid two nice rubber patches.] and unique 15" Fittipaldi alloy wheels with BRAND NEW Sumtomo tires. It has red leather interior, sunroof [switch not working], electric windows [I used the switches for another car I have but can get you a set upon purchase if you remind me]. It will need a new battery though starts right up with a jump. This car will NOT currently pass California smog. I have key and paperwork to get title. Selling with paperwork "AS IS". Remember this is a parts car or fixxer upper. It is NOT A SHOW car THOUGH I do have great selection of other really nice classic BMWs [see teaser shots] as well as a really great running and decent driving 1991 535i 5 speed with rebuilt engine and new clutch. It is rust-free as well. That is about it..............
