A show car ready for you…

This car is a show winner and is every bit the condition the photographs reflect.  In fact THE PAINT IS FANTASTIC. The camera makes it look a little orange. It is not not. It is VERY RED. And the pictures attached may make the paint look a little faded. It is not. THE PAINT IS AN ABSOLUTE FIRST RATE JOB AND HAS GREAT LUSTER. And the colors on the door panels are rich and unfaded.

The color is Porshe Guardsman Red. And it draws attention wherever you drive it.  The chrome and stainless steel is flawless.   The lower rockers and rear panels are low-sheen black, giving the car an aggressive look.  The wide tires are on aluminum wheels and the open wheel wells make them stand out.  

This car is, of course, carbureted with a more performance-oriented unit. 

The engine bay is as clean as it looks in the pictures. The liner under the hood is in great condition.

The interior draws you in. The red leather seat design is absolutely fantastic. And the two-tone door material on the doors and allow this car to stand out. I recently took his car to a large car show and as expected lots of people were trying to poke their head inside to get a better look at it.

The dash is very cool with plenty of gauges and, as you would expect of Fiat and Lancia automobiles, they all work except the speedometer!  

Oh, more about the car being a Texas car.  If you have the car inspected (please do) have the inspector put it on a lift and use a mirror and a droplight. He'll tell you Texas is a dry place.

I would like to tell you I restored this car from top to bottom, because it looks so great. But I didn’t. Someone else did a terrific job on this car. The only thing I did was install a brand new alternator (wasn’t needed), I had the 2 door panels and rear cockpit pieces rebuilt (the old vinyl has split in a few places) and had the gas tank cleaned. 

The A/c is in place. I was told by the gentleman who restored the car that all it needed is charging (He is an A/C professional himself). 

I mentioned above the odometer has stopped working and the mileage is not acutal. When you see the car (inside, outside and under) you'll think it was right off the show room.

I expect the buyer will take this car home via enclosed trailer, but if he or she wants to drive it home, it is a terrific car and ready to go. I can drive the car to a transporter in Dallas/Ft. Worth.  If an international buyer is interested, the car is a 4 ½ hour drive from the Houston shipyards.

Here are some answers:  YES, the car has tint steering..... there is a chip in the top of the glass of the ext. mirror ... there is slight discoloration around the perimeter of the windsshield as is common in these cars ( it does not show up in the pictures)... the carb is not stock, it is a much more performance rated one.
