1987 900 8v non-turbo manual, PARTS CAR

225,000 miles. Bad Transmission. Salvage title.  Located near Los Angeles.  You need to tow.

I lost 5th gear in January 2008.  The car does not have current registration, because the car failed SMOG.  I've had to replace the catalytic converter in the past to pass SMOG.

I've had the car since 1998 and put 150,000 miles on it myself. I've replaced just about everything in it but the transmission. NEVER needed oil. Pennzoil 10W-30 every 3,000 miles. All the lights/lenses are good with no cracks.  The car has been keyed twice, there's a dent in the front left, rust on the driver's door, and paint is peeling near the left vent (See photo).

I'd rank this car 7 out of 10, mainly because of all the newer parts.  The photos appear better than in reality.

You also get the following extras:  4 steel wheels, A/C components (No condenser), used floor mats, misc trim pieces, coolant reservoir, new air filter, new CV boot.

New brake master cylinder, blue silicone vacuum lines, used leather front seat skins, new catalytic converter, new oxygen sensor, new exhaust and muffler.  Used instrument cluster (Old odometer stopped working), Rear ended (Only paint marks on bumper), new lower temp thermosensor, new lower temp thermostat, removed A/C components

2004:
new head gasket, skimmed head, new alternator, new engine mounts, new discs and brake pads, replaced front seats with used leather, used updated door chime, used cubby from turbo, used hood liner

2005:

New catalytic converter, used rear axle from an ’86, alignment. new battery

2006:

New coolant hose from thermostat, new ignition coil
