Thank you for checking out my Landcruiser and for your bid. I believe I am asking a fair price for the FJ62 and encourage anyone thinking of bidding to ask any questions that they may have. I think this Landcruiser is an awesome vehicle and hope to sell it to someone who will enjoy it as much as I did. Here is the scoop on the Landcruiser:
Good: Runs great. No engine knock or ping. The 4x4 is in great working order and I have had no issues with it. The interior is in pretty decent shape and isn't all tore up. The shocks have been replaced with factory Toyota and the muffler and endpipe have been replaced recently. The battery and alternator have also been replaced within the last 8 months or so. The tires have decent tread and do not need to be replaced. The vehicle drives straight and doesn't burn oil.
Not so good: The vehicle is 19 years old, and although a classic, it has rust in the classic spots. The worst rust spots are underneath the doors, around the wheel wells, and at the bottom of the tailgate. I can, and will, send pictures of the rust spots so you can bid with confidence and have no surprises about the condition of the vehicle. The parking brake is stuck and probably needs lubed to free it up. The windshield is cracked and will need to be replaced.
The Landcruiser is driven several times a week and wouldn't be up for sale if not for the new addition coming soon to the family. I don't have the room to keep the vehicle and it would be a shame to just have my cool Cruiser collecting dust. I believe I am the 3rd or 4th owner of the vehicle and will answer all questions to the best of my ability. Please keep in mind that I am not a mechanic and cannot forsee future problems. If you are not a mechanic and want to have one come over and look at the vehicle before you bid, I encourage you to do so. I want the purchaser happy with the vehicle.
