For sale “one” CERVINI Passenger Side Window Scoop
ONE that’s right here is the reason that I have a single scoop on Ebay,
Originally I purchased a set of scoops painted high performance white to match the color of my 2008 Shelby Cobra GT500 which is my Retirement gift to myself, I figure I have been in the Military for 17 years, been to Iraq 2 times one year each, Kossovo 6 months and have done my time and I deserve it, so I buy a pair of painted Cervini scoops for $350.00 to accent this already hot car of mine.
I telephoned Cervini and asked questions like, Will these scoops hold on good enough to drive with them on the Autobahn? , since I am stationed in Germany. And the answer is “YES”, these will hold on up to 200 mph, so, I take these scoops to have them professionally installed and they are put on properly, exactly how Cervini instructions said to put them on.
The car sat in a heated garage for 36 hours, only 24 hours are required, and I drove for about 30 minutes before I drove on the Autobahn,
STOP!!! Here is where it gets really interesting,
So I accelerate to 85 mph and the drivers side scoop pops off and flies off the car, on the “autobahn” where cars are doing speeds in excess of 150 mph the scoop is ran over by a truck and the scoop is destroyed. Luckily there was no one hurt or killed. So I get back home and call “Cervini” and I speak with “Jeremy the Sales Manager” at Cervini and I tell “Jeremy the Sales Manager” exactly what had happened in a calm professional manner.
So “Jeremy the Sales Manager” offers me their website which has the instruction in a PDF file, on how to install the scoops which you can download from the website for free, and I tell him I already have this and I asked him to go over it with me just in case it was my fault, so as I start going over the instructions and “Jeremy the Sales Manager” stops me and tells me that there must have been something done wrong and insists on it being my fault , mind you he is 6,000 miles away in New Jersey and I am in Germany, so he cuts me off and will not let me finish talking to him about the situation,
At this point it is my word against his, so I ask him if it is possible that sending these scoops through the mail that the double sided sticky tape could have been at fault since there might have been a temperature change and the tape had dried up some,
“Jeremy the Sales Manager” cuts me off again and insists that it is not possible and threatens to end the conversation, so I ask him if there is another sales associate I can speak with, at this point his male ego gets in the way and he feels threatened and he will not let me speak with another sales associate or anyone higher on the food chain than him,
So I ask “Jeremy the Sales Manager” if it is possible to send me another scoop, just one and I would pay full price for it, he tells me “NO”! So I ask if I can get another set of scoops at a discounted price and then again another firm “NO”! So I ask him if I can speak with the owner of Cervini since this conversation was going nowhere at this point “Jeremy the Sales Manager” hangs up the phone on me ending the conversation
So here I am with one scoop, painted High Performance white on the outside of the scoop and Flat black on the inside, to match the color of the interior of the car, the screen is also installed, the scoop is in excellent condition, so if there is any one out there that has lost their Passenger Scoop and does not feel like dealing with the same unprofessionalism I had to deal with please email me and let me know, I will be purchasing new scoops form Shelby Automotives which will be OEM parts and are actually made for the vehicle and will fit better. I am not looking to to get a lot of $$$$$ for this scoop, it is just the principal of Good Customer Service, and I will never buy another Cervini product again. Thank You
