For sale is this Murray made go kart. It has a 6.5 horsepower Tecumseh engine and the harddrive torq-a-verter drive system. The harddrive system is made to be able to handle adult riders. It has suspension on the rear and did have springs on the front, but they got too weak and I replaced them with square tubing to fix the problem. The paint is still nice with a few marks and scratches here and there. It has the polished aluminum wheels and good tires all the way around. The seat is plastic and in like new shape and it does have a seat belt. It will start with a few pulls, but doesnt really idle well at all. It runs good once youre on it going and doesnt smoke or use oil. We would usually have the rider on the kart and someone else pull start it and all was well. This is probably due to the tecumseh carb has no choke just the lousy primer bulb. May need a carb to be A1 but we never had much trouble riding as is. Only one thing I can think of that isnt hooked up is the key kill switch. The key was missing when I bought it and the switch unhooked, so to turn it off you must reach back and turn the switch off at the motor. The rear is positive traction and the brakes and throttle all work as they should. The kart is loacted in Loretto, TN zip code 38469 and will have to be picked up here. Easy to find place just about 1 mile off of US Highway 43. If want to send a truck to pick it up we will work with you to be home when they arrive.
