This is an 1982 MCI Bus that I had purchased to make into a motorhome, I had started the process, and haven't had the time to finish it. I drove the bus 3 hours home the day we bought it with no problems. All the seats have been removed, and the interior started to be removed. This includes the overhead racks (which are half-removed). There are also two windows that would need to be replaced. I broke them when working on the bus. The cost to replace is $200/ea. The last time I started the bus was a month ago, and it started right up, I think I left the lights on, because the battery is now dead and I don't have a charger to run it. See photos of bus below.
The bus runs great, and it was checked out at a local bus mechanic to be running well and the engine in good shape. The bus is being sold as-is. Buyer to arrange pickup/delivery of bus. E-mail with questions.
Dear topchoiceweb, was the bottom of the bus crome and then painted over? The bus was painted, and it has chrome front and back bumpers.
How long is the bus? Approximately 40 feet.
Is the bus automatic? Yes, automatic I believe an Allison transmission.
How many miles? Actual milage unkown, engine has been rebuilt, and there is actually no odometer, just one on the back wheel.
Does it have a restroom? Yes. Still entact.
What is the wire hanging out of the headlights? We did not have 24V headlaps available, so we used 12V ones. You'll need 24V headlamps and then you can remove the wires.
Do you have the title in hand? Yes. I have the title in hand and it is clean.
