AW certificate. Teady to go flying. Vehicle Description Older Avid Flyer A Model. I have owned it for years. I had the local DAR inspect it 7 months ago. It has all logs, books, Placards etc. Legal ELSA ready to go. It will fold up in less than 5 minutes. Climbs like a homesick angle on a Rotax 582 gray head. Has roap start. Handheld Vertex Standard radio receives wells although transmits engine noise. I flew 130 hours on a Hirth 2703, then adapted to the water cooled Rotax which now has about 200 hours it. (That's my estimate using the original tac plus what I added. I left power on the hour meter while working on radio and forgot it. Meter works but doesn't reflect actual hours flown.) See pics: radiator is in the lower cowl opening. The left opening is the exhaust ellbow. It still lacks being trimmed. I have an intercom that I use in two planes. It goes with this Avid. Bring yur own headsets. Lands short using mechanical tow brakes. Rough fields no problem on these 700X6 inch aircraft tires. Very nice baggage compartment that locks up 2ea 2.5 gal poly fuel containers as well as my screw tiedowns, small overnight kit and headset. Fabric is several years old but paint is bright and should fly for years. Has 8 gal usable dash tank. I cruise 85 @ 6000 rpm but will do 92 all out. 72 inch Peery prop with epoxy leading edge.
