This has been an extremely difficult decision for us to make. In fact, it's taken us six months to finally commit to selling our Larson Ski and Fish. It is just short of 18 feet in length but is categorized as an 18 footer. We have had this boat for about a year and realized that with the change in jobs and additional time required to make a new business work. . .there isn't as much time for play. We paid about $24,000 for the boat, new. First and only owners. This will be a GREAT buy for the lucky winner. . . a boat that's barely a year old, been garaged the entire time, used conservatively, serviced and broken in. Lake weather is here. . .don't miss out!!
What you'll want to know:.
1. The engine has very few hours since we purchased it new and it's been primarily used for fishing. It's been pampered, maintained and serviced according to the dealer recommendations.
2. It's been treated extremely well. This boat is in excellent condition. It's been stored in the garage since day one, under cover. The only time she's seen daylight is when we've taken her to the lake, which has basically been about 7 times. There are absolutely no scratches on the hull because it has never been beached. I will say that we managed to find ourselves over a sand barge one afternoon and although the hull is unmarked, the prop did lose some of it's original paint before we figured out what had happened and were able to trim it up far enough to get out of danger's way. No damage otherwise to the prop. . .still fully functional, no dings.
3. A trickle charger is kept on the batteries while in storage..
4. We've upgraded the package to include a swing away tongue that allowed us to store the boat in the garage. . .If you have a newer home then you know how short they're making the garages. I can't even park my pickup in it. The swing away tongue made it work for us.
5. We also upgraded to include two extra batteries and the foot controlled trolling motor that has an autopilot feature. . .very sweet when you're trolling and don't have to worry about continually correcting your course.
6. Upgraded to include a blue bimini and ladder.
7. Radio/CD player is Sirrus ready..
8. This has been an adult owned boat, no kids. . .which is probably why it's in such good shape. :0).
9. Also purchased the additional spare tire and cover.
10. Lowrance fish finder
11. Registration is good through March 31, 2009.
I believe that whoever finds themselves as the new owners of this boat will be in heaven. Fishing has been so much fun and effortless. You have the option of using the two additional seats for both the front and back of the boat with the convertible platforms, a live well, fish finder and hands free trolling. It's so comfortable and such a solid built, quality boat that you have to wonder why anyone would buy anything less. This boat really does have it all.
The warranty is also very impressive and difficult to compare to in the industry, which was one of the selling points for us as we researched the market. This means the lucky winner will still be covered under warranty for almost another 4 years.
Larson covers it all for 5 years …or more**.
1. Hull * – Lifetime.
2. Boat Components – 5-Years
3. Engine – 5-Years
4. Power Train – 5-Years
5. Trailer – 5-Years
*Hull, deck, stringers, floors and transom covered by a Lifetime Limited Warranty on all models of 2007 Larson boats. Structural hull only coverage applies to non-VEC models.
You really need to see this boat to appreciate the condition it's in. BOTTOM LINE: This will be a great bargain for someone who wants a new boat at a used price. As far as the reserve price goes, we're very reasonable and actually, a little below NADA values. I do reserve the right to end this auction early if a reasonable offer is made.
