Ford F8000 Contractor Flat Bed Dump Truck
Truck is in perfectily good operating condition. Vehicle history record shows the truck was fully inspected 6/3/06. Results show "Certification: This vehicle has passed all the inspection items for the annual vehicle inspection report in accordance with 49 CFR 396"
However, to run extensively up and down the road I would recommend: (Front tire replacement as well as another vehicle inspection)

3208 Cat Diesel Engine (recheck against vin to be sure)
Manual transmission with a Chelsea Power take off unit.
Hydraulic pump for dump bed.

If you want to show the truck off to friends I would recommend: For the Interior - seat covers to cover rips in seats, floor mats, new interior door panels, and a healthy cleaning of the interior. For the Exterior - repair of small rusted out places on the cab.
NOTE: Hydraulic cylinder on the dump is bend and will require repair. Please take this into account when bidding. |
