This is a 1979 Ford F-250 with a 1984 Extended Cab Ranger cab and long box on it.

This truck is set up for mud bogging and off roading.

Details are:

390 ci V8 with a 4 brl carb

C4 automatic transmission with shift kit

NP208 transfer case

Dana 44HD Front axle with 4.88 Gear set

Dana 60 Rear axle with 4.88 gear set and a lock right locker installed

Tires are 39.5 x 18 x 16.5 Super Swamper Boggers with 90 % tread and no cuts.

Wheels are 16.5 x 12 Bart Monster Wheels.

Suspension is a 6" Sky Jacker (with this body it sits more like an 8") 

The Truck was built by me to play in the mud and was very fun.  The front clip is designed to open forward for easier access to engine compartment.  The 4 core radiator and tranny cooler are mounted in the box for the best air flow possible with an eclectic fan out of a Lincoln Navigator.  It also has 5 foot rear ladder bar set up to control axle hop and wrap.  The exhaust is routed up thru the box for those deep holes to maximize horsepower.  The interior has been removed to save weight and for easy cleanup it has 2 high back bucket seats and has the appropriate gages in the custom dash (minus the Tach).     The fuel cell has been removed from the truck but the fuel line is routed to the rear of the box.  I really miss playing with this truck but I moved away and we lost our mud hole to play in.  The Truck was running when parked and engine cranks but it has no spark I think the coil may need replacing. The truck will have to be picked up in the Windom, Minnesota area.
