After reading the description feel free to contact me by phone with any questions you feel may not have been addressted to your satisfaction.(814-746-1263) cell. Also please overlook any misspelled words. My wife is not here to do a spell check for me, and it will take me hours to do this listing as it is, without looking up words in the dictionary. Spelling is not one of my high points as you may disscover. Anyhow let me start by saying this has been an excellent truck for me. I bought it around this time three years ago. It had around 200000 miles on it at that time,but seemed to be in good running condition. It did prove to be what it seemed to be. I have put an additional 17000 miles on it to date. To this day it starts very easy, runs good,shifts fine through all five gears,has good power,dosen't smoke,has no need to add oil between changes,and being a small six cylinder (3.0) 5- speed, gets relatively good gas mileage for a 4/4 Truck. I haven't checked the mileage lately, but when I first got it I think it got 20 mpg or a little better,and I'm trying to be consevative. I really think it was up to 24mpg at times at best. I have used it to haul fire wood over 100 cord in the past 3-years. It does a very good job.I have owned 2 other power ram 50s a 1984 4/4, and a 1988 4/4. These were very good trucks as well,but I have liked this one the best,because even though it has a 6 cyl.motor it gets about the same gas millage as the other 2 trucks that were 4-cyl. Plus it has better power. IT has a nice cap on it. The radio and cassette both work,and it has a good set of tires on it. The inspection is good untill the end of August. Lights all work I think. I had Mightus put an exhaust system on it that seems to be holding up. The reason I'm selling it is twofold. One...I bought a Dakota about a year age that had some transmission trouble,and I just got it taken care of at the local Dodge garrage.It is a newer,and better looking truck,that I am now running.Two...The Ram 50 started to make a sqeaking noise that turned out to be a universal on the drive train.I took it to a place that changed it for me.Everything was fine for about 2- weeks and than the new universal came apart while I was driving the truck. I bought 2 move universals from napa, one for a spare,and I changed it again. But I noticed it did not fit real tight,and someone told me thats probably why it came out.You would have thought the people that changed it for me would have noticed it wasn;t a tight fit and told me. Anyhow I put a few spots of weld on the ears to keep it from coming apart again. I have put between1500- 2000 miles on it since than and there is a little bit of a vibration that is noticible especially at 55-65 mph.My guess is it is not balanced right.The place that put the first universal in it said that thay could build me a whole new drive shaft ,complete with new universals and they also have the equipment to balance it as well.all for about $200 if I remember right.But since I started running the Dakota I really don't need the power ram any more. All one more thing about the power ram . The steering box leaks a little. Every couple months I had to put some fluid in it. I just put a new belt on it as well. Although the body it relitively solid. There is a dint behind the driver door,but it does not efect the door closing.There are a few othe smaller dents and scratches here and there,and the driver mirrow is gone.Hopefully the pictures will speak for themself.
