1974 Classic "MINI" I purchased this for my son...thinking he'd perhaps want to finish the interior...and make it a nice "check me out kind of car" but he drove it for a bit. He seemed to like it...but didn't he show any interest in finishing it...and has been gone to college since...We've had it over 2 years...its never seen snow or rain...its been kept in our garage. As far as I can tell, there is no rust on the car. I purchased this from a dealer in Jupiter, Florida...and had it shipped here. I put on new tires and rims, I don't think there's 250 miles on the tires. Also replaced the alternator, battery and master cylinder. My son put on seat belts...I guess it needed that...Quite honestly...it needs someone who wants to finish it up to make it truly awesome...the car is solid...and runs nice. The drivers side is European thus...you'll be on the otherside driving...(right). The only thing I am aware of is the brake cylinders on the front wheels need to be rebuilt...or replaced...other than that mechanically it was fine. There are also a few scratches here and there...but I didn't think it was a biggie... I have spotted some small rust under seat I believe there's a picture of it...it looks to be just on the surface. there is also a small amount in the rear trunk...lastly there is also an elbow ding...i think from the detailer...he denies it...but i think it will just bump out...On the front floorboard...it appears to be rustproofing or noise deadening. floor looks fine from what i can tell.
I would like to say that the car is solid...and a great one to finish but I am selling this as is without any warranty...and mostly because I have not driven it...
Please understand what you are purchasing...this car is only 48" tall...and I don't think its barely that wide... I believe its only 10' long. And it weighs only 900 lbs. Also the mileage is low...58,000 But it is neat...even thou small...its a cool car.
