I'm auctioning my daily driver. I bought this Lincoln a few years ago and have driven it back and forth to work and school at IUPUI on a daily basis. I recently purchased a truck and need to make some room in the driveway. It does have a few problems, but is reliable transportation. Since I've owned the car I've replaced the water pump, serpentine belt, and tires. Tires were just purchased a couple of months ago and don't have much more than 500 miles on them. I'll list the good and bad points.
THE GOOD:
1) Drive train is in great shape. This car has great pickup and shifts smoothly. Enjoyable to drive.
2) Tires have somewhere around 500 miles on them.
3) Air blows ice cold and heat works great.
4) Seats are really comfortable.
5) Power Sunroof.
6) Aluminum Wheels
THE BAD:
1) Windshield has a crack that extends from top to bottom of window. When I purchased this it was only about half way down the window, but cold days and the hot defrost caused the crack to extend the rest of the way down the windshield. This crack is on the drivers side of the windshield, but I've driven it this way for quite some time am not bothered by it.
2) Car is without a radio. This car did have the premium sound system and the speakers, amp, etc.. are all still in place. This had a radio when I purchased the car and it did work great. I attempted to put in a CD player and screwed up. I never got around to replacing the radio.
3) Front brake pads need replaced. Car still stops great, but you can hear the brakes squeak when you apply them and the brake light has come on.
4) Front passanger window comes off track. The window will roll up and down, but if rolled down too far, it comes off track. The door panel had to be removed to straighten the window out. Door panel is now loose on this door as well. Window is rolled all the way up and can be left this way until it is fixed, or indefinitely.
This car has many cosmetic imperfections. I've tried to include pictures of these (front bumper, door panels missing trim, etc..) but am sure I've left out many of the small imperfections. This car won't win any car shows, but it is good reliable transportation. I've been very happy with its performance and have put over 20K on it during the time I've owned it. On May-08-08 at 17:02:13 PDT, seller added the following information:I forgot to mention during the initial posting that the turn signal lever is a bit touchy. One side works fine, the other has to be jiggled to get it to stay in place and work, or I just hold this in. I meant to get this fixed but have grown used to it. Both of the lights/ signals work great. You can get one at a junk yard fairly cheap.
