Up for sale is a 1989 GMC 2500 350 fuel injected V8 with an automatic 700R4 transmission and 145k miles. It runs and drives great. It averages 12-14 MPG. It does burn a little oil between oil changes, but it does not leak a drop of any fluids in the driveway.
The motor runs very strong. The transmission was rebuilt less that 10K miles ago, as you can see in the photo attached. The brakes seem to stop the vehicle just fine; however, I think they will need some attention in the future.
The van is loaded with most power options. There is an alarm that was installed, but I'm not quite sure how to work it, because is an older one.
The van does have cold A/C in the cab area, but it does NOT have roof A/C.
It comes equipped with lighting for the sleeping area that works off the auxillery battery. It has also has 3 electrical outlets for appliances, etc, for when it is plugged into 120 volts.
It has a refridgerator that gets very cold when plugged into 120 and I believe it MAY also have D/C capabilities for when driving down the road.
It does NOT have a sink or a stove, but it certainly has enough room to put them and it also has enough room to put a water tank as well. It does NOT come equipped with a toilet, but there is a port o potty, that is like new, that comes with the van and there is ample storage for it.
The van has a couch that folds out to sleep 2 and it also has an overhead bed that will also sleep 2.
There are privacy curtains throughout, that can be attached or simply closed when needed.
The canvas for the pop-top is in excellent condition with no rips or tears. The zippers on the pop-top open and close fine. The screens are all in great condition, except for one that has a very small hole. The plastic on the windows are also in very good condition, as well.
The interior of the van is in good condition, with the exception of a tear in the driver's seat that has been re-stitched by hand.
The front tires have about 50 - 60% of tread remaining and the rear tires have about 80%.
The body is in good shape considering it is 19 yearsl old. There is minor body damage to the doors on passenger side, where you enter into the sleeping area. The rest of the body is good and there is not rust. The paint is faded, but looks like a good buff job would help it alot.
The van also has a hitch installed that has 5-pin connector.
I have numerous receipts documenting repairs and maintenance, that will go with the van. I also have the original window sticker.
Overall, I feel that this van is in good shape considering its age. I tried to be as accurate as I could in describing it, but I'm sure I may have left something out. So, feel free to ask questions.
You can leave it at our house for 30 days for free if you need too;we have a large fenced back yard where it can be stored, but firstit must be paid for in full.
