I am selling this old car for a friend of mine. He bought it back in 94 and it sat in dry storage since then until about 3 years ago.
He took it out of storage and had it repainted and some mechanical work done on the car. Then it came home and has sat in his garage till now. It had not been started for about 2 years until Me and My Father went over about 2 Weeks ago and got it running for him. It just needed a new battery and a little fuel dumped in the carb and it started right up.
I then drove it here to My home where We just washed it and took pictures to sell it for Him.
He is not able to drive it and He would like it out of His garage.
I cannot tell You much about the car other than what I found out when I brought it home.
It is in need of some mechanical work.
It wanders while driving it. I thought the tires were low, but that didnt help much after airing them up. So I crawled underneath and noticed that someone had replaced spindles and control arm bolts and hardware. I am guessing that it just needs an aligment since these parts have been replaced.
There are a bunch of new bolts underneath on different items.
The rear springs appear to be new.
The tank looks like it is new. It appears rusty looking in My pictures but It is just the photos.
The muffler looks like it was replaced.
The floors are real solid.
Underneath the doors are solid.
The trunk is solid.
There is a crack in the paint on the hood (I tried to get a picture, but its hard to see.)
The top has a little rip in it. (see photo)
There is a tear around one of the snaps.
The Carb is new but it will need adjustment. It seems to be running way to rich.
It will need a tune up as it has sat to long. The plugs look pretty dirty.
The clutch will need adjusted. If You push the pedal as far as it will go it will go into gear without grinding. (sometimes)
It shifts good going down the road.
There is a boot for the top but I forgot the picture.
OK, that was the bad part. As far as the car goes, there is a lot to work with. The body is in nice shape and solid.
