| | | 1980 Volkswagen Vanagon with the rare ASI camper conversion. Very original, and with only 88K miles. It runs and drives well, but could use some cosmetic help.
The body has a cheap repaint in a different color, and is now very dull with chips showing the original color. A good detail and polish may help, but it should probably be repainted. It appears that although unused, it was stored outdoors, and as a result the paint faded and many small plastic items are very dry. There is a bit of rust beginning to bubble up in the lower corner of the rear window. (see photo)
Inside, the front seats are torn, and the drivers side wobbles a bit. The rear seat is torn as well. The overhead bed upholstery is fine, and the tent material looks dirty, but is in good shape. All camping accessories (stove, fridge, sink, furnace, are untested, but look to be in good working condition. The overhead AC does not blow cold, and may require a recharge.
Comes with all receipts from new, and even an original sales brochure.
A great running camper that you can use while you restore or customize. LOW RESERVE
