VERY RARE Single axle vintage 29 foot travel trailer; came originally equipped with a fold down porch. Opening bid is $1, yes $1. Trailer was sold on E-bay in March of this year and I received payment, but winning bidder developed personal troubles and was unable to pick up. Their loss is your gain. Purchased in 2005 with intent to restore. New tires, reworked brakes (6V), new wiring, 110VAC electrical system with modern breaker box, new old stock running lights, breakway switch and new running light wiring. Needs a 16ft. 7 way connector to connect the new running light/brake junction box to the tow vehicle. We are selling our house and this MUST go. I will not part it out. Interior is gutted for restoration. About 30% of the framing has been replaced along with the right front floor and both wheel wells. Needs one 14X23 Woodlin window which was discarded at some point to install a window a/c. I have all the interior parts (except for the standing oil furnace and the house style toilet) including the original Hardwick stove and Frigidaire apartement sized fridge for this trailer. It is structurally sound and the frame appears to be solid as well with only surface rust. However, I cannot guarantee the running gear, springs etc. due to their age for the winning bidder.
BEFORE you bid, you need to ensure you have or can obtain:
- A tow vehicle that can tow at least 5000 lbs with about a 500 lb tongue weight
- License plates/tags
- Sway bars are recommended
- 12V battery for the breakaway switch
- Time to get the trailer ready to ship e.g. unload the interior items (cabinets etc.) from my storage shed.
I CANNOT guarantee or warranty anything due to age. The trailer is sold "AS IS". I will help the winning bidder load items and locate original installation points for eventual reassembly, provide advice, etc. I need this to be picked up withing 30 days of auction close.
Happy Bidding. This is a once in a lifetime deal if you are looking for a vintage trailer that is super rare.
